We Happy Few 506 presents The Pacific: Sledge & Haldane - based on the award-winning WW2 drama, The Pacific. We explore the relationship between Capt. Andrew 'Ack-Ack' Haldane and E.B. Sledge that's shown in the series.

Joining us are Scott Gibson (Capt. 'Ack-Ack' Haldane), Bruce C. McKenna (Co-Executive Producer and Writer), Henry Sledge (son of E.B. Sledge) and Stephen Moore (nephew of Capt. Haldane). The show is hosted by Matthew Leitch (Band of Brothers' Floyd 'Tab' Talbert) and We Happy Few 506's Producer (and self-confessed superfan of The Pacific) Leighton Hughes.

We discuss the relationship between Haldane and Sledge as well as how The Pacific came to fruition. We also look at what other books were considered for the series, and what it meant to our guests to be part of the production.
